GRAHAM AND JET GET WET: THE WONDERS OF WEATHER tells the story of young Graham experiencing a big thunderstorm he doesn't understand. His friend, Jet, a friendly hawk, takes him on an exploratory journey flying into the storm to explain it and its power. This heartwarming story quiets Graham's fears through understanding, enlightens him to the natural forces of weather, and ultimately shows him how people can put back together what weather tears apart.
Dave Murray decided to become a meteorologist in fourth grade. He became the first nightly weathercaster who was a meteorologist on the NBC-affiliated station in St. Louis. He holds twelve Emmy awards for excellence in weather forecasting and is currently chief meteorologist for FOX Television in St. Louis. Janis Settle Murray recollected her childhood to create the characters and story of this, her first children's book. She is a former CNN correspondent in the Northeast Bureau in New York and television news reporter in Boston, Detroit, and St. Louis.
